WinBackup Business v2.8 released with client status updates and additional backup rules / controls.

SARANGSoft has released version 2.8 of WinBackup Business with client (endpoint) status updates in the Administrator Console and more flexibility via rules / controls (Server connectivity and free disc space availability) for starting scheduled backups on the client devices. The client-server communication performance has also been improved.

The new version comes with the following improvements:
1. Client (endpoint) device connectivity status presented in Admin Console
2. More options for backup configuration of client computers based on status
3. Fix for known and user-reported issues
4. Updated Help documentation.

WinBackup Business streamlines backup in Windows networks (both domain and workgroup). It supports PCs running Windows Windows 7-SP1, Windows 8(.1), Windows 10 as well as servers running Windows Server 2008-R2 to 2016.

WinBackup Business license also includes a free license for the latest released version (v3.1) of SARANGSoft CloudScape for easy and seamless transfer of data between local storage and cloud (AWS-S3 and Azure). SARANGSoft has released version 4.7 of digipaper -- in 32-bit and 64-bit format -- for use on Windows PCs (Windows 7-SP1 to Windows 10) and Windows Server (2008-R2 to 2016). digipaper uses Microsoft SQL Server (Express) 2012 to 2019 as the backend database for document repositories / archives. With digipaper, digital document repositories / archives can be created either locally (on-premise) or in public cloud (Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure). This makes digipaper available to users while in the office or away.

digipaper version 4.7 comes with the following improvements:
1. Scheduled batch / bulk import of documents into a repository / archive.
2. FIPS-140 compliance for high-security environments / requirement.

CloudScape v3.1 released with improvements to file and folder sync to cloud and scheduling.

SARANGSoft has released version 3.1 of CloudScape with the following improvements to file and folder sync operations:
1. Assign name for each connection to cloud storage (AWS-S3, Azure) location.
2. Pre-specify CloudScape behavior (e.g., continue, stop, cancel) on error during file transfer.
3. Better management and presentation of sync history.
4. Other changes based on user feedback and continued internal testing.

SARANGSoft has released version 4.0 of digipaper -- in 32-bit and 64-bit format -- for use on Windows PCs (XP-SP3 to Windows 10) and Windows Server (2008 to 2016). With digipaper, digital document archives / repositories can be created either in locally or in public cloud (Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure). This makes digipaper available to users while in the office or away.

digipaper version 4.0 comes with the following improvements.
1. Support for sharing archived documents to recipient(s). Link to shared document will be sent to recipient(s).
2. Whenever admin adds or modifies access privilege (READ, WRITE, SHARE) to some archives, users associated with those archives will be notified.
3. Instead of the bottommost subsection ('leaf'), documents can be added to any section or subsection within the document archive hierarchy.
4. One can use SQL Server Express Edition without the 'Advanced Services' as digipaper backend with either 'SQL' authentication or 'Windows' authentication mode.
5. Installation document and Help updated.

SARANGSoft has released a number of updates for v3.0 – v3.0.1 to v3.0.7 between Dec 2015 and Jan 2017 – to address various issues reported / pointed out by the users and to add a few enhancements. Version 3.1 includes all those updates as well as the following new features and improvements:

SARANGSoft has released version 3.0 of CloudScape with significant improvements. This version adds the following capabilities:
1. Sync files and folders to Cloud (Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure) based on options like sync only new files, sync all files, sync only changed files, sync on different file types
2. Sync multiple folders in one go
3. Scheduling of file / folder sync
4. Create sync profiles for reuse and in scheduled sync operations

filexpertez v2.5 released to support backup of open files and with Windows 10 certification.

SARANGSoft has released version 2.5 of filexpertez with the ability to backup various types of open files, which was not supported before.

Some applications open files in "exclusive mode", and as a result most backup applications tends to skip those. Some of these include important files like Outlook .pst, QuickBook .qbw, SQL Server database .mdf / .ndf / .ldf etc. This new version of filexpertez can backup all types of open files on Windows Vista to Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008 and above. Therefore, irrespective of when you take the backup (or for a scheduled backup), the open files are not skipped.
NOTE: Open file backup is fully supported only on Windows Vista onward and Windows Server 2008 onward because of certain missing functionality in Windows XP and Windows Server 2003, which make the process more complex and potentially unreliable.

This version of filexpertez has been fully tested to work with Microsoft Windows 10 and has been certified as Microsoft's "Windows 10 Compatibility".

If you have an existing installation of filexpertez version 2.x, you can use the "Check for Upgrade" option in filexpertez to download and install the updates (faster). Even electronic documents (computer files) of any type can be organized into a repository for easier management and precise usage across the organization. No need to ask around for the latest version of specific files and no more using wrong version of a document / logo / image etc.

This version of digipaper has been fully tested to work with Microsoft Windows 10 and has been certified as Microsoft's "Windows 10 Compatibility".

A scanner compatibility test application, ScannerCompatibilityTest.exe, is also available to help identify which scanners work properly with digipaper. Testology v2.0 update released for 32-bit & 64-bit and with Windows 10 certification.

SARANGSoft has released an update (v2.0.5) to version 2.0 of Testology for 32-bit and 64-bit and Windows 10 compatibility.

SARANGSoft Testology version 2.0.5 is now available, in both 32-bit and 64-bit, for Windows PCs running Windows XP-SP3 to Windows 10 and Windows Server 2003 to 2012-R2. You can build automated test apps / suites for unit tests, component tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests, stress tests, performance tests etc. of any software system with an API.

Testology consists of two main parts – the "Test Developer" and the "Test Runner".
Test Developer makes it easy to define a test structure, auto-generate test code template, fill in the required test code and build a test binary to run verification tests on the target software system. Testology.
Test Runner helps run a test binary in various modes – in sequential order, in random order, selective cases, with different parameters, only once vs. repeated, log to different targets etc. The same test binary can be executed in a host of different ways while executing it through the Runner.
NOTE: Testology Runner is a free download for anyone. Once you build a test app / suite using Testology Developer, you can distribute the test binary to anyone. They can download the Runner and execute your test on their Windows computer. It's like Adobe PDF – once a PDF is created, it can be distributed to anyone, because the user can download the free PDF Reader from Adobe website.

This version of Testology has been fully tested to work with Microsoft Windows 10 and has been certified as Microsoft's "Windows 10 Compatibility".

SARANGSoft has released the Document Digitization and Management tool digipaper version 2.6. At present this product is available in 32-bit only, which works on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.

digipaper helps convert piles of paper documents into digital archives as well as organize electronic documents into repositories. It works on PCs running Windows XP-SP3, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8(.1), and Windows 10, as well as Windows Server 2003 to 2012-R2.

Work is already underway on version 3.0 (planned for Q3-2015), which will include support cloud integration as well as native 64-bit version, and verified on Microsoft Windows 10.
